Abstract

Two new genera, Burmoptera and Drinosa, one new subgenus, Limnophila (Burmolimnophila), and seven new species, Burmoptera azu, Drinosa prisca, Austrolimnophila (Austrolimnophila) joana, Lebania scomax, Limnophila (Burmolimnophila) bora, ?Antocha (?subgen.) lapra and Trentepohlia (Paramongoma) dzeura (Diptera, Limoniidae), are described from Burmese amber. Fragments of two species belonging to the genera Gonomyia (Gonomyia) and Helius are also characterized.
