Abstract

Those family-group names for snakeflies (Neuropterida: Raphidioptera) are catalogued. The type genus and combining stem are identified for 22 family-group names, including the new subtribes Mongoloraphidiina and Ohmellina. The higher classification of the order is briefly summarized.
