Abstract

The second North American locality of the moss Trematodon laetevirens Hakelier & J.-P. Frahm was discovered during the installation of vegetation monitoring plots within Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve. We discuss site characteristics for this collection and other relevant finds from our non-vascular community observations including Herbertus aduncus (Dicks.) A. Gray, Oreas martiana (Hoppe & Hornsch.) Brid., and Plagiomnium insigne (Mitt.) T. Kop.
