Abstract

All known species of New World Procryptotermes are defined and distribution records revised. Two new species, P. hesperus from Cuba and the Bahamas, and P. leewardensis from the Leeward Islands, are described along with a redescription of P. corniceps (Snyder) from the central Antilles. New records for the recently described P. edwardsi Scheffrahn are given along with a key to imagos and soldiers of New World Procryptotermes.
